Open government proactive disclosure

Increasing transparency and providing easy access to government information helps to build public confidence and support engagement in government activities, decisions, policies and laws.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 1991, members of the public are legally entitled to access information (with certain restrictions) held by Preventive Health SA. Certain information is proactively disclosed on this page and updated regularly, and other information is available through a Freedom Of Information request.

Domestic and overseas travel is an important way of enabling agency employees to participate in professional development opportunities including attending and presenting at conferences, seminars and workshops.

Preventive Health SA is committed to the ongoing professional development of employees and supports the sharing of knowledge and information with other agencies, our partners and across jurisdictions to benefit our agency’s work in supporting health outcomes and reducing inequities, as well as the work of others.

This includes any expenses incurred in relation to hosting or attending functions or events, including refreshments provided in or out of office meetings with external visitors.
