SHINE SA clinics
SHINE SA offers cervical screening appointments via their Davoren Park and Woodville clinics, Hyde Street practice in the CBD. For all bookings, please visit https://shinesa.org.au/find-a-clinic/
Other services provided by these clinics include a wide range of essential sexual and reproductive health services — including contraception, STI testing and treatment.
Free telehealth self-collection for cervical screening
SHINE SA also provides free telehealth cervical screening for people who are due for cervical screening, designed to support those who find it difficult, are overdue for screening or live in rural or regional communities.
The telehealth cervical screening involves self-collection which means doing the test yourself. Following a consult with a qualified SHINE SA nurse, your nurse will arrange for the self-collection swab to be sent directly to your address. Just complete with a pre-paid return envelope. Self-collection is easy to do and is just as effective as a test taken by a clinician.
