Strategic Plan for Preventive Health Action 2026-2034
In accordance with section 9 of the Preventive Health SA Act 2024, Preventive Health SA has developed a draft Strategic Plan for Preventive Health Action 2026–2034.
The draft Plan has been informed by the agency's Strategic Directions and developed in collaboration with the Preventive Health SA Council and key stakeholders.
Consultation on the draft Plan took place in June 2026, with 173 participants and 52 written submissions received. Feedback reflected the perspectives of Preventive Health SA staff, community members, and 79 stakeholder organisations and groups.
The feedback has informed key refinements to the Plan, including strengthening how clearly it communicates its purpose, priorities, roles and practical implementation.
The Strategic Plan will be finalised soon.
