A walk for everyone

A walk can work wonders for your mood, mental health, and state of wellbeing. Even a short walk can make a big difference to your day, so why not start with a 10 minute walk at your own pace?

There are many walking trails and hiking paths across South Australia that are accessible to prams and people who use mobility aids.

Walking SA has complied a list of the top 50 across our state. Why not take a look at the list or start with exploring one of the trail suggestions below this weekend?

  • Choose your own adventure along the River Torrens Trail. This 30km shared use trail stretches from the foothills at Athelstone through Adelaide CBD and all the way to West Beach. Pick a small section to explore this weekend. At least one side of the river is always a compacted surface and accessible to prams and wheelchairs. There are plenty of parking and public transport options to access various points of the trail.
