South Australian Suicide Prevention Community Grants 2026-27

The South Australian Suicide Prevention Community Grants provide funding to eligible South Australian community groups and non-government organisations to deliver community-led projects that improve wellbeing, strengthen protective factors and contribute to suicide prevention across South Australia.

The grants support local initiatives that build resilience, strengthen social connection and promote positive mental health outcomes, particularly for populations and communities experiencing elevated suicide risk, poorer wellbeing outcomes or social disadvantage.

Funding available

A total funding pool of $150,000 is available through two funding streams:

  • Five grants of up to $20,000 (total allocation $100,000) to support projects with broader reach, stronger partnerships, organisational capability building and proportionate evaluation.
  • Ten grants of up to $5,000 (total allocation $50,000) for community-led projects that strengthen known protective factors associated with mental wellbeing and suicide prevention.
